Springfield M1903A3 V2 (replaces Scout, no script)

Omschrijving
Springfield M1903A3 V2 by Rex The Impaler without script for compatibility with mods like OBOW.

Use this mod if you get conflicts with scripts of other mods. Otherwise you should use the original mod. If using OBOW, use the original OBOW script with BuiltRightHanded set to 1 (not my inverted versions). If you won't use any addon script, the weapon will appear in left hand.

Note: I am not the author of this mod. I just made minor modifications. All credits for the mod go to the original author (see links above).

I hate it when people make WW1 or WW2 weapon mods for this game, they make them look too new, like it was made in service a few days ago? I need that rugged wood look.

Right. In that case you would need to get Left 4 Dead 2 Authoring Tools, unpack the script mod, find the weapon script for "scout", and change the BuiltRightHanded variable from 1 to 0 or from 0 to 1.

You can find the mod in <L4D2 folder>/left4dead2/addons/workshop. There you need to find the VPK file that corresponds to the script mod and extract it. Use GCFScape [nemstools.github.io] to extract, then use Notepad++ or something to change the weapon script, and finally repack it. You can rename your addon and place it in <L4D2 folder>/left4dead2/addons/. Or publish it to the workshop and subscribe to it.
