Description
Contains new planet skins, needed for proper work of other mods.

Added following skins:
  • Coral (trans-oceanic, uber, class B);
  • Archipelago (trans-oceanic/terran, uber, class B);
  • Rocky (trans-volcanic, class C, also may random appears in the galaxies);
  • Dark Swamp (trans-swamp, uber, class B);
  • Lifeless (class F). New biome type which may random appears in the galaxies. Non toxic/radio active but unsuitable for farming. Can be terraformed into Barren;
  • Earth (class B). Unique Human planet, created for future planned Story Mode;
  • Dark Swamp (class B). Unique Darlock biom;
  • Uber Gaia (uber, class A). Unique biom for Orion;
  • Evergreen (trans-arid/swamp, uber, class B);
  • Cybernetic (uber, class B). Unique, created by special structure in the world with Capital;
  • Mountain (trans-rocky, uber, class B);
  • Oasis (trans-desert, uber, class B);
  • Plato (trans-lifeless, class C);
  • Stone Ice (class F). Extra-cold planet where atmosphere cannot exist, gases freezed to ice or liquid. Unsuitable for farming, can be transformed into Tundra;
  • Ice Giant (class F). Similar to Gas Giant, but most consist of unleavened water - valuable resource for space colonization.

All YAML settings for new skins listed in "biom list.txt". Pay attention to available planet halos as less are available. Also with this mod you can't use old skins from non-realized game content.

Installation
1. Find this mod into Workshop - <Steam path>\SteamApps\workshop\content\298050\1607773756\.
2. Extract resources.zip to <Steam path>\SteamApps\common\Master of Orion\MasterOfOrion_Data\ with replacing files & saving subdirectories structure.
3. Turn off (if on) "Read only" attributes on resource.assets & maindata files in specified directory.
4. Run SFX "Resource Pack.exe" as administrator, install additional patch into same directory. Installer will replace files from p. 3 with backups.
5. Now you can use & create mods with new planet skins.

WARNING! SFX installer works only with x64 OS.

Thanks for this pack. Really like the Dark Marsh, Forest and Mountainous texture planet skins.

Groogo to uninstall RPP not enough to just uninstall distributive & unsubscribe. You should also restore main game files using backup created by SFX patcher. Maindata, resource.assets & sharedassets41.assets should be restored. Of course, you can just to rehash your Steam licence if you have it.

I was having trouble with loading my save games. I had to uninstall "Resource Pack and 5X/Resource Pack Patch” and my save-games were able to load again.

Chippoka I can't speak for Spud. New skins from mod can be used only with biomes from other mods. My TTR is WIP now, Spud told me what he update skins for existing biomes in his 5X, but he promise new ones soon. Now I testing the balance & planning to add some nature bioms which would generates with eer new galaxy. One of its also can be formed by special building.
