Soul's All Faction Officers Revival

Thank you for giving me the motivation to continue modding, through all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ times and long nights working on issues and bugs. Thank you for trying out my mod, I hope you enjoyed it. <3 Oh, someone beat me to the punch this time for officers, so YAAAAAAY I DONT HAVE TO SCRUB THROUGH VARIANTS WITH 3!!! I love ya'll and Seb for making this mod orginally, but geez that is some long hours and a type of modding I personally don't prefer, now chaos invasion and Druchii overhauls? that's my jam :) Especially to many people here as this was really my first major foray into modding, thank you and to one in particular, I'm sorry I didn't deliver on the xmas update :(

Did a quick "no CTD, officers still load in custom battle" test for ya'll 08-24-2021, don't get hopes up but maybe a final update coming, say by Xmas probably when I have some extra free time. If possible, and needed, I will also try to migrate this over to WH3.

Anyways the following story about the journey this mod took me on still applies for most part as beyond a final QoL update to bring stats up to date and make sure all new units have officers, I will not be working on new variants, or new features etc.

I made a new thing for Chaos invasion too/adds some cool daemon units,etc mods for invasion....of which I will now be putting all my time and effort into as far as modding is concerned...still...seriously go check it out I've put a lot of TLC into latest updates, makes for a quite choice invasion event if I do say so myself.

This mod was only ever meant to answer the frustration I had at seeing Seb's as "out of date" on the KMM launcher. I honestly can't even remember if it needed to be updated, but I know how people have knee jerk reactions and knew eventually it probably would. So I re-uploaded it, patted myself on the back, maybe I fixed some bug a new DLC had caused, but either way I went back to playing happily with officers again.

Until a community member pointed out the unit stats tables were beyond fubar due to officers making every unit slog to the Empire infantry squad's base speed. Forty-eight hours later, with four hours of sleep, I had accepted the inevitable and made the updates to the stats tables, taking the, at the time, up to date and most equivalent stats from each unit an officer was attached to and making sure it was correct.

Thus began my efforts to transform what was only ever supposed to be a neat visual mod to include TW games' normally vanilla feature of unit officers, into something more. I added more officers, reworked some factions, and did my best to keep it up to date. Over time through steam, I began talking to ihKu47 too, who created their amazing version of the mod. Springboarding off my attempts and creating what is, IMHO, the definitive version of this mod, and at one point even keeping mine working after one DLC...hmm kind of like Seb's original, eh.

Anyways, I'm officially passing the torch to ihKu47, please go check out their mod. I will no longer be updating this...mostly...(commenting won't help...I really don't check this page often anymore xD), I have major projects still for my other mod to get done(like MCT integration), but I MAY, MIGHT, COULD POSSIBLY(free time permitting, in theory though, shouldn't be that crazy of a final update to do), do a last final update to make sure all the stats and approriate units at least have some kind of officer, as to like new variants though? HAHAHAHAHAH no, still, go to ihKu47's for that level of development.
