Survivalist's M1 Garand

More Garands.

My third to be exact, and the tragic reality to the conception of this Garand trilogy is that people are anal about scopes. That's about it, really: a flock of seagulls and metallic eye pieces. My first ancient Garand of Yore was given the firm raising of noses for having an optic piece from the current century, as I had chose for a restored, modernized look to the rifle having unable to find a M89 that looked serviceable to the detail of the rifle at the time. My second Garand, in a spin of bitter irony I hadn't come to realize until I had begun typing out this very damn sentance was that it was scorned by myself this time around, it coming to my attention a year after release that the scope on this thing was anachronistic to the days of Hitler Beatdown. I wanted a piece that looked accurate to it's service in the ol' Global Kerfuffle 2: Electric Boogoonein, so I fished up the M89 from Day of Infamy and went with that one instead, which I've since updated unto.

But then I wondered about what to do with the scope that was replaced, that anachronistic aftermarket teleshoot. I thought to just leave be and move on, but in my testing I came to miss it, it's gleaming high detail staring at me puppy-eyed yearning for another chance at the thespian battlefields of Hollywood shootouts, explosions, cleavage and crazed black guy. A third Garand ... I thought that if I was going to go with yet another version for the stage I better make this thing look godamn convincing to justify hauling out a third edition of this melodramatic broomstick..

And thus we come to this: a Garand that was raised by alcoholic anarchists that smell of rotten meat, hide from the government and spell backwards, probably. We've come full circle and delivered on all the ends that were demanded so that the spiders in my head can be appeased and I can at long last put this rifle to sleep forever. FOREVER.

This replaces the Hunting Rifle on Day of Infamy's Garand animations, re-targeted by me. Again.
