Description
I originally wanted to release these in 2017 for the 100th anniversary of the Russian revolution, but I did not have access to the models at the time. Since I only got them around September, I decided to hold off the release for the 101st anniversary.

Includes:

Mosin-Nagant M91 with bayonet and mechanical bodygroups
separate models for the bodygroups
Mosin-Nagant M91 Obrez with mechanical bodygroups
7.62x54mmR round
Fedorov Avtomat M1919 with bayonet and mechanical bodygroups
separate models for the bodygroups
6.5x50mmSR Arisaka round

Mosin-Nagant M91

The first version of the famous Mosin rifle was designed to replace the aging Berdan rifles in Russian service. Despite being inspired by the French Lebel rifle, it featured an internal box magazine loaded via stripper clips, a ladder sight and a spike bayonet that attaches to the front sight. While it is commonly known as the Mosin-Nagant, the rifle is almost entirely of Mosin's design, with only some minor elements taken from Nagant's rifle. Due to the state of Russia's industry, the rifle was produced not only in Russia but in several other countries in order to meet the necessary number of rifles. It ended up serving as the primary rifle of the Russian army during WW1, of both sides of the Russian civil war and of the Soviet Union until it's replacement by the improved M91/30 model. Cut down versions, nicknamed "Obrez" were made as replacements for the lack of pistols, not just in Russia but in other countries, inspiring similar practices in other guns.

Fedorov Avtomat M1919

The most ubiquitous version of the Fedorov rifle, making up the bulk of the production together with the M1923 variant. It added a metallic shroud to the barrel in order to aid with heat dissipation and a foregrip, allowing the weapon to be used as a frontline rifle rather than just a machine gun. It was also produced with two rear sight models. The Fedorov rifles were put into service by the Red Army until being discontinued in 1924. Despite this, they were brought back during the Winter War, it being the only conflict where Fedorov rifles were used in meaningful numbers. Nowadays, the Fedorov is a highly prized piece of firearm history, with some going so far as arguing that it was the world's first Assault Rifle.
