International Space Station (ISS)

1 - About:
The International Space Station (ISS) is a space station, or a habitable artificial satellite, in low Earth orbit. The station is expected to operate until at least 2028. Development and assembly of the station continues, with components scheduled for launch in 2018 and 2019. The ISS is the largest human-made body in low Earth orbit and can often be seen with the naked eye from Earth. The ISS consists of pressurised modules, external trusses, solar arrays, and other components. ISS components have been launched by Russian Proton and Soyuz rockets, and American Space Shuttles.

This projects total part count ended up at 83510 blocks/parts!
The model is made to a 1:1.05 scale (A few meters smaller than in real life!)
It took us over 150+ hours of total work spread out over 9 months to finish this.

3 - SPAWN:
Spawn is simple, it spawns fairly quick:

KEEP IN MIND!: Make a 32 block tall platform and put the lift on that (If it still doesn't work, try crouching when placing the lift down). The Station will not spawn otherwise because centerpoint is not the tallest on the station. Also, remember to be on a BIG flat area, this creation is really big!


4 - WELD:
Welding the creation may take a while depending on your computer. The method we’ve found that works best is when 2 people are in the same world(Method 1). And the other method is obviously the solo method(Method 2)

Method 1: When you’re both in a game the host will act as a higher framerate source that updates the server quicker. Player 2 is going to do the welding. So when player 2 spams the weld key it will weld quicker and easier.

Method 2: This is the solo method. If you’re alone then welding the creation may take from 10 seconds all the way up to 3 minutes depending on your computer. Spam that weld key!

KEEP IN MIND!: Weld the station 20 blocks off the ground. If you want to play with the soyuz (Check point 5) the station will have to be 25 - 30 blocks off the ground.


5 - SOYUZ: (OUT NOW)
The soyuz will be an additional module that you will be able to steer and fly around with. It’s currently OUT!

The soyuz will be able to dock to the station. While it’s possible to dock as a single person we recommend two people present on the server. One in the station and one steering the soyuz.
