Timber Arches to complete your timber toolbox!

Already for some time, I was playing with the thought of creating timber arches after I revived the Diagonal Timber mod.
Completely create from scratch and ready for use, both Creative as Survival!

Survival ready:
  • Can be unlocked with the Civilian "A Better House" research
  • Craft Timber Arches from Timber (1:1)
  • Timber arches can only be crafted on workbench (Bending wood requires some force)
  • Timber Arches can be stored in the regular timber storages


Todo's:
  • Update models to fit the new visual style of timbers
  • Create a dedicated arched timber storage
  • Nice to have: dedicated craft station for timber arches

Do not hesitate to leave your feedback!

Updates:
  • v1.0: Release
  • v1.1: Smoother round surface; Fixed missing mountpoints.
  • v1.2: Updated mod to 0.7.

Don't forget to try the Diagonal Timber and Diagonal Planks mod as well!

nah, that old question isnt relevant anymore, really. I was at the time going to make a bunch of sloped arches, but I fell out with modding too.

Sorry by the way for not answering your previous question. I have no clue anymore how many faces for the arches I used; Depends on the LOD's. I'm currently a bit out of modding, but if it would still be 'actual', I could spin up Blender for you :winter2019coolyul:

its already compatable since it uses the default wood texture, you're good. would reccomend talking with Johnbeere about it though, if you want to learn more about it

I don't know what is needed to get it to work with the Paintable Blocks mod. So... I don't know.

Just curious, but how many faces/edges are used for the outside of the arched timber? (and if it changes for each size, how many for each) Im testing a concept for angled arched planks for use in making domes, and I would love to make It match up with these :P
