Omschrijving
The Siemens S70 is a light rail vehicle used in many U.S cities. These assets are modeled after Houston METRORail's first set of S70s which have a streamlined look to them. One train has 72 seats and room for 169 to stand. That brings the capacity to 241 but in game I made it to the nice even number of 240. I modeled the old silver and black livery to make this more generic. Color variation is only in the destination board. Snowfall DLC is required (Because… trams).

Included:

- 1 Car Train (240 passengers)
- 2 Car Train (480 passengers)
- Prop Version

Recommended mods:

- Reversible Tram AI for train-like reversal running. The mod is still in Beta but this asset works well with it. Headlights change directions for this asset.

- Vehicle Effects for custom sound effects. Sounds are recorded from the real S70s.

- Visibility Control for additive shaders. This lights up the destination board and windows at night.

- Extra Vehicle Effects for wheel grinding sounds on curves.

- First Person Camera for cab view. the vehicle camera Y offset needs to be set to 0.50 to have the correct view.

- Reversible AI Station and Tram Tracks assets by Clus

even though i have the required DLC when i sub to this asset it doesn't show up to content manager

I'd recommend you add your tram assets to the "Transport Tram" Steam workshop category, I never knew this existed until I found it in a collection.

@chibi thanks, yes i update this one frequently lol

Right now AVO is the only way to change it since changing the speed in the asset editor messes with the trailers. I'll take note so next update I'll increase the speed.

Firstly, love the looks of this and have used it on and off from when it looked quite differently. :)

Would it be possible to change the default top speed of it to something a little more realistic like 70-80 km/h? (w/o using AVO or similar)
When comparing it with other trams or parallel car traffic it seems to max out around 55 km/h.

Thank you for making this in the first place, and secondly for updating it. Even before the update this has been one of my favourite trams to use as a double set has great capacity, and is one of the few (if only) tram asset on the workshop with custom vehicle sounds. Extremely worthy of an award 😊
