Beskrivning
Important Notice: I have abandoned support for this mod. However, if anyone wants to use any part of it for a mod of their own, feel free to do so.

A new block template for pipes, girders, and any other block of that sort. It allows for diagonal placement and joints.

I have included the option for changing the dead ends of these pipes and girders as well. To do so, place a widget block (crafted in the industrial workbench) in front of the pipe end and it will change the pipes' appearance, making it look like they are connecting to the background. Also, in case you forgot where you placed them, the widgets will be visible if painted pink.

The older variant that changes appearance when painted black is still in the mod (both the config file and the image), in case anyone prefers that method.

Also included is a simple light source designed to be placed between pipes for a little extra glowy animated goodness. And, to go along with the angled pipes, there are flame, poison, and water traps (crafted in the wiring station) that can point in any of the eight directions. When placing one there is an arrow indicating which direction it is pointing, but it will be invisible once in place, so it can blend in with any block.

The mod also has a few other blocks that I thought would be nice to have, such as darkness (sloped and square) and ribbon cables.

@bastard I didn't mess around much with that program, if at all (I can't remember now), and all the dev files for this mod were lost when I changed to a new HD a couple years ago.

Hey man! I'm trying to use the program tiled, the editor used to make dungeons and stuff. Can we get in contact? I want to know if you have any of your assets set up for tiled? As in if you've got a tileset folder and stuff maybe set up from past development? It would save me a lot of time, thank you.

is there a way to force one tile to take priority over another? I'm trying to make a wall with pipes in it but every time I do the pipes render under any other wall or sloped wall I put down, leading to the slopes of the pipes being covered up

I've tried both the standalone mod, and FU to see if I can get the pipes to render over everything else, but no luck

Not working well with Frackin anymore.
Some tiles when hovered over cause the client to crash.

@Wally, yeah. That's an issue with the way water interacts with the grid in the world. This mod changes the appearance of the square blocks that fill the grid that makes up the world and doesn't touch the actual underlying grid, so you'd need to overhaul either water mechanics or the grid itself to be able to have a nice angled edge being possible. :(
