WASD Converter

Opis
This mod adds 4 logic gates that are powered when one of the WASD keys gets pressed.
Connect them to a driver's seat.

Now updated to 0.4 with backwards compatability to 0.3

Update 1:
  • It actually works now. I forgot to add the output...

Update 2:
  • The WASD Converters can now be connected to controllers. When only controllers are connected, they will act like they are connected to the driver's seat. So connecting non-controller parts, you will lose some functionality.
  • Allowed engines to be connected to the output. You now have to use only one engine to rotate a bearing in both directions.

Update 3:
  • The visuals should now work for multiplayer. (Although I haven't tested this)

Update 4:
  • Completely rewrote the mod
  • Added backwards compatibility to 0.3
  • A and D no longer have a delay when switching between them

TODO:
  • Add new parts that check camera movement. >>Camera Controls<<
  • Make it turn on and off using a logic signal.
  • Check if it works with all interactable parts.
  • Allow engines to be connected to the output.

Connect the converters to a Driver's Seat. Use the logic output of the converters to control your plane.

I might redo the mod a bit and add proper survival mode support, but rn I don't really have motivation to do so.

Wait, you are a part of the Moddatabase mod, and you don't have Survival crafting recipes for this mod?

There's not a single mod out for just WASD converters to make it easier on people who aren't ready to try and DIY their own solution. You'd be a real hero for my friends who are trying to make planes with the Wings mod and a number of other things by giving this mod some survival recipes, perhaps a sensor and logic gate like what exists in Raft Mechanic, and just make mention in your description to say you don't need it.

@almostanormalperson try connecting it to a controller, and have the controller connect to the bearing, and make it turn 27 degrees(the default steering angle) thats what i do

Why wouldn't you just use the seat directly for that?
