Advent to Galactic Empire [WOTC]

描述
Use the XCOM2 Alternative Mod Launcher (AML) in conjunction with this mod. I have received many reports of this mod not working with the vanilla game launcher. You can find the AML here: https://github.com/X2CommunityCore/xcom2-launcher

DESCRIPTION

This mod converts Advent forces to those of the Galactic Empire. The units created for this mod mainly take their inspiration from Legends continuity. This is a partial conversion and only affects the tactical layer of the game. The strategic layer, including the tech tree, is totally unaffected.

I do not guarantee compatibility with any other mods but I only anticipate conflicts with mods that affect Advent characters and AI scripts. See the Known Issues section for known conflicts. This mod IS compatible with [WOTC] Mission Overhaul: Core and I recommend it.

CREDITS

Cavily provided meshes used for the AT-ST, Imperial Officer, Imperial Army Troopers, Sith, Phase 1 and 2 Darktroopers, Shadow Guard and reworked numerous textures.

PERMISSIONS

The Stormtrooper meshes in this mod, with the exceptions of the Rocket Trooper Helmet and Jetpack, are the work of Lord Poncho. You must ask Lord Poncho for permission to use any of his assets.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Vanilla/LW version?
Afraid not.

LWOTC version?
Probably not.

Where are the Stormtroopers?
Stormtroopers will begin to appear as Tier 2 Advent Troops. Tier 1 Advent Troops are Imperial Army Troopers.

Why are the Dark Troopers so big?
Because Phase 1-3 Dark Troopers are big. Only the 2005 Battlefront 2 Dark Troopers (i.e. Phase 0) had normal human proportions.

KNOWN ISSUES

If you switch from the Bounty Hunter Rulers to the Sith Rulers, or vice versa, wait a couple days on the strategy layer before accepting a mission where a Ruler will be present. This will allow the mission encounters to reset (a dead giveaway that this has happened is if the number of enemies present on a mission deployment changes).

Other known issues include the following:
-Chosen Assassin has bugged materials during spawn-in cinematics. (Don't worry, she appears normally after the intro.)
-When not posing as a civilian, the Imperial ISB Agent uses Faceless proportions in cinematic reveals. (At the moment I can only fix this by disabling the civilian reveal cinematic as well, so I'm not doing it)
-Troops may have deformation during cinematic reveals.

This worked for me but if you have [WOTC] Firebrand to Imperial Pilot installed please remove it until there's a fix.

I have the same issue as Spartan2256 and Born To Snacc. Is this mod borked until further notice or has anyone found a fix? I do use Covert Infiltration if that matters.

But the mod hasn't been updated since 22, and I've not seen notes of a game update, either. So, it's likely an incompability of some sort with another mod. You'll likely have made sure of that, but just to be certain, you don't have any ragdoll mods installed, right?
Or maybe a file got corrupted or something, have you tried unsubbing and resubbing?

I'm having the same issue as Spartan2256 where the mod doesn't work anymore for some odd reason, on Gatecrasher I get regular Advent with E-11s and the Sectoids are glitched out but making Probe Droid noises. It's very strange, but I think something either in this mod or the base game files changed slightly with a patch and broke this. I really hope that this gets fixed at some point because I absolutely enjoy and adore this mod.

I cant get the mod to work, when I start Gatecrasher regular advent skinned troopers show up but are somehow using the mods weapons and firing sounds. I have all the core content and other dependinces, but I am also using a ton of different mods.

I might just go through them all one by one if i get desperate enough, but if any of you think of anything I might be missing plz lmk

is there a way to turn of the sith, i want a more realistic war against the empire and having a sith load of lightsabers running around breaks my immersion a bit

Ive been having a blast with this mod. originally wanted to do a warhammer deathwatch play but man being able to do a total conversion like this makes it way more fun.

That said i have a request/challenge for the modders. there is a good bit of old republic armor mods and such on here and i would really like to see this same idea modded to be Sith Empire from the old republic. I would also like to give props for the Advent to Tau mod as well. when i do eventually play deathwatch ill probably be using the advent to Tau mod. lol
