The particle system also seems to have loading issues, upon trying to load this, even if isolated, I get these two errors:

AddCSLuaFile: Couldn't find 'effects/backup/init.lua'

AddCSLuaFile: Couldn't find 'effects/new/init.lua'

This causes the bullet tracers to stop working and spam the consoles with errors.

Scorcher Flame Thrower bugs and lags out upon contact with enemies or players in the hands of players or npcs:

How do I use the Explosives? like explosive pod and detonator? I can't get them to work.

As far as I know, I only have 2 other mods that relates to particle effects, but both are disabled, along side with most of my addons being disabled except for the Garry's Gears collection and some playermodels

@Brandon - if you have too many mods that use particle effects, some won't be loaded.

It's been years since I last used this addon, I was wondering while the guns work and do damage, I don't see bullets coming out. Is that like some sort of effect I'm missing to see bullets coming out? If so, I would like to know what addon can help me see them. Still loving this mod though :)
