If you are like me, then you are a bit confused with some of the straits in vanilla. Why do armies get to walk from Wales to Ireland, but not Dover to Calais which is about twice as far?

I appreciate the balance effort the devs put in for vanilla with the straits, but I want consistency. So, I give you, BetterStraits:

Every strait that is longer than the distance across the English Channel has been removed, since I think we can agree that has been a historically important barrier. This means that a number of previously connected provinces no longer are.

Most significantly, this means you can no longer walk across the ocean from

- Ireland to Wales
- Southern Italy to the Balkans
- The Strait of Hormuz
- Gotland and Bornholm actually become islands
- Mallorca and Menorca are not connected anymore

I finally got around to updating this, thanks to @eclipse454 for providing the incentive. This should be functionally identical to the files he uploaded to googledrive (link in the comments), so if you find they work, great, keep using them, but you can also use the Steam Workshop if you prefer that option.

The only real change is that I noticed I had accidentally separated Corsica and Sardinia, but they are significantly closer to each other than Dover and Calais are.

Compatibility: This should be compatible with any mod that does not change province ids or water crossings.
