Original description:

I recently started playing gmod again, and realized that this addon is still slightly popular, so I decided to release this updated version with some minor changes.

I remade Hxrmn's Grappling Hook with lots of bug fixes. I have Hxrmn's permission to edit and redistribute this.

This addon is realeased under the MIT license, which gives you the right to use, distribute, and modify as long as you give me credit.

It has a cvar (grapple_distance)that defines its maximum range. The default range is -1 (unlimited). It will not latch onto anything that is out of range. This makes it useful in applications such as stranded, spacebuild, or roleplay.

Changelog 3.4:
- Changed default grapple_distance to -1 (unlimited)
- Replaced the zoom function, it will now respect the users' default FOV, and zooming is snappier.
- Cleaned up the code a bit and updated the contact info.

every time i clear out my addons i install 3 things, portal gun, admin gun and this.

Could've been better if there are proper model and animation, the movement at the start kinda slow and you can't do quick redirection one its go too fast, otherwise, this addon is one of the most fun and one of the best grappling hook mods, you can swing almost like a spider man, the grapple dosen't cancel out your freedom of movement, and you can do some sick dodge/clutch montage with this. Pair better with doublejump addon and player speed change addon
