Moon's Thrones of Britannia Unique Units Expansion Mod

This mod adds new unit types to Thrones of Britannia, with careful additions to expand unit rosters.
Shock Cavalry, Slinger, Mace Infantry, Crossbow Cavalry and Chariot unit types have been fully implemented into the base ToB game with new art, animations and mechanics. I aim to make unit rosters more interesting while staying true to vanilla content, consistency and design.



New unit additions aim to be historically fitting, balanced, well designed and high quality.
While there is historical context for all new units, there are some creative liberties over history.
Some vanilla units have been redesigned for better diversity and thematic improvements.
Eg. Elite Norse Infantry throw axes in a charge, Levy Spearmen start with no shields (2-handed).



Each new unit is available in custom battles and is recruitable only on a new campaign start . Many more additions/changes are listed in the FULL CHANGELOG[www.twcenter.net]

General Info
-A new savegame start is required for campaign recruitment!
-Seamlessly integrated to the latest version of ToB and bug/issue free.
-Mod Credits: Me, Pack File Manager (PFM) modding tool[sourceforge.net] and CA game assets.

Compatibility
-This mod is a recommended addition for most mod loudouts! Fits well with Vanilla-centric mods.
-Mods that add new units OR affect the startpos.esf file will be incompatible (no recruitment).
-Mods that reskin units may have cosmetic incompatabilities.

is it possible that this mod increases the units experience very strongly? I made 2-3 battles and have units with 3x silver xp?

So I've got an issue where the Strat Clud shock cavalry doesn't upgrade in the cav tree. I think it might be because the upgrades listed don't include the upgrade from Welsh Lance Horsemen to Welsh Lance Raiders, according to the text. The second upgrade to Ulchwers (sp?) is there, but the first one is not. I doubt anyone's updating this one to fix it, but I'd be happy to take a crack at it, if allowed.

Wasn't it the Picts who were the last ones to use the Chariots? (one example is Battle of Mons Graupius) but the anglo-saxons or germanic warfare NEVER ever used chariots.
It would be like giving horse archers to the aztecs in 1400s

Guys, this mod is NOT broken. Being only able to see Levy units at the start of the game is intended behaviour in the Vanilla game. Most advanced units outright replace basic ones as you tech up, to keep the size of the recruitment screen manageable.

I'll play through a full campaign and let you know if I can recruit advanced units properly once I tech up.

Is it still possible to add units to campaign rectruitment pools? What files did you use for this? Maybe im in the wrong files IDK.

How did you get the units in the campaign recruitment pool? Im trying to add foreign warriors and gallowglassses to circenn and been struggling for hours to get them added to campaign
