Not making your own rails modpack? You probably want to subscribe to a mod that uses this library as a dependency. For example, my Rails Modpack mod.

Contains 10m bendy and straight 100% wooden rail segments with a max propelled speed of 8 m/s and a 4x friction multiplier.

The wooden rail is the "cheaper" one (though because of how time consuming wood is maybe not for some). Because of this it has higher friction and the bogies slow down much slower on it.
