I found myself using a bunch of my 4x4 pavement decals to create driveways, which adds a lot to the prop count. So I created these long narrow pavement decals. There are 3 lengths in this pack... 4x8, 4x12 & 4x16.

They are located under "Residential / Ground Tiles" in the Asset Editor.

Since these are decals without "ruining", that hideous animated grass in the game will go through them. I highly suggest utilizing a "Remove Sprites" mod to get rid of them (and the tribbles that show up in the gravel... what the heck is that? LOL!). I know there are many options, along with Theme Mixer that will do the job.

These decals utilize the in-game themes for the pavement texture, thanks to Ronyx69's "Theme Decals" Mod. You will need to sub to that mod, as well as the Prop Control for these to work properly in your game.

2023 EDIT: The original "Decal Prop Fix" mod used when creating these will still work, but that is now depreciated and may conflict with newer Mods. I suggest updating to Prop Control (which is what I'm currently using in my game)


P.S. That is GiometryE's beautiful 1950 Nash Ambassador modeling my driveway. :)

You can make asphalt ones using ploppable asphalt already. Theme decals came way after ploppable asphalt, which is why it's not in there. You tag it as a ploppable asphalt decal using the second script here: {LINK USUNIĘTY}

Sorry... I just looked at the Theme decal code, there is no option for asphalt, I thought there was.

I imagine... lol! Yeah asphalt would expand and contract with the temps. We have them here in Michigan too... but I don't know if I've seen them on smaller, near suburban homes.

sweeet..! looking forward to this! Cause in Canada we see very few concrete slabs in houses' driveways. Like 1 for 20 asphalt. In places where ground freezes 6 feet deep, things are done differently ;)

@deeheks ... Yes they can, his code allows for using many of the theme textures. But driveways are usually made from concrete not asphalt which is why I chose pavement for these.

just asking... can't road texture be used in theme decals? should ask master Ronix I guess
