The dreaded Mimic comes to Darkest Dungeon!

Feeling especially masocistic? Add some mimics into the mix! They'll be sure to catch your party at the worst time! Remember though, as annoying as they are, they hold great rewards!

What's in this mod?
================

This mod adds mimics! These shapshifting creatures take the form of heirloom chests and lay in wait to ambush your party! Mimics are a 'mini-boss' of sorts which spawn when interacting with a new curio called a mimic-chest. Mimic-chests look almost like regular heirloom chests though a keen eye may learn to tell the difference!

In addition, this mod adds a new trinket! A reward that has a chance to drop from killing mimics! Just one of many treasures dropped by these annoying creatures!

Mimics will spawn in all dungeon difficulties and in every dungeon except the Darkest Dungeon and the Courtyard.

Compatibility
=============

This mod should be compatible with pretty much any mod out there. Only issues you would have are any mods that add/remove curios or edits the spawn chance of curios. Unfortunately I couldn't find a way to edit the '.props' files and make them compatible with other rmods that edit those files.

Bugs/Issues
============

The only main issue that I've come across is an interaction with the "clear all room battles" quests. Untouched mimic-chests will count as an undefeated room and you will not be able to complete the quest until you activate the chest and fight the mimic. As far as I'm aware there is no way to fix this. But let's be honest, you didn't download this mod to make things easier on yourself.

Only other thing, the summoning of the mimic isn't smooth at all. There is an annoying delay from when you activate a mimic-chest and when the mimic appears. If any vetern modders have any insights behind how I could fix this, I'm all ears.
