The result is that with gm_floatingworlds_3_v2 installed, the vanilla "dead tree" foliage card will be replaced by live trees. This can significantly impact the look of certain maps.
Please see the link for my interaction with a map author in which we were able to determine that my issue came down to this map specifically.

In fact as I look, it seems like people are having ALL KINDS of weird problems because of this map....
