!!Traditions Re-Merged [2.1]

Beskrivelse
Status: This file will remain for 2.1. I hope to make a version 2.2 eventually, but I'm waiting on the authors of various traditions mods to get their mods into a stable state first.

Support for Expanded Tradition Choice is mostly done - every ETC tradition except Exploration is supported.

You can never have too many traditions, right?

Unfortunately, the way that Stellaris builds the Traditions screen requires every tradition category to have an explicitly designed location - you can't just install multiple tradition mods side-by-side and expect the game to just "Figure it out".

This is a compatibility patch which will allow you to use Plentiful Traditions, Additional Traditions, and Expanded Tradition Choice together. Additional Traditions - Expanded is not supported at this time, but I hope to support it as soon as it is updated to the latest version of Stellaris.

Compatibility
No vanilla files are changed. However, this mod does overwrite interface/topbar_traditions_view.gui, which means it will conflict with any other mod which edits or overwrites that file.
Of course, that's mostly limited to tradition mods, which is why you're here in the first place, right?

To Do
  • Investigate the existing traditions for potential balance changes, overlap, and mutual exclusivity.
  • Learn how to do Tradition Swapping for Machine Empires.
  • Include Bastion/Machinery/Genesis/Ether when and if Additional Traditions - Expanded is updated.
  • Figure out how best to arrange the tradition grid.
  • Create some original content to fill the empty spaces in the Tradition Grid.

    Acknowledgements
Another compatibility patch for Plentiful Traditions/Additional Traditions, maintained by the creator of Plentiful Traditions, is available here.

@Kernyx The Developers of Stellaris are doing everything in their power to kill thier own game. Though I will say that the Traditions scene is getting increasingly more confused and messy. I can't even tell which traditions mods are which anymore. I can't seem to find that one with the Warhammer 40,000 traditions anymore.(Mechanicum, Administratum, etc...)

You know this is stopping me from playing Stellaris:
Every 5 minutes a mod my savegames depend on becomes outdated, replaced by a different one and/or abandoned.

will you be using the new plentiful traditions mod that another person updated? http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1311725711

From the current mod ecosystem, it doesn't look like I'll be directly updating this to 2.0, though I might eventually make a seperate 2.0 version.

I would like to request, if you update this for 2.0, you leave a 1.9 version up, so people who roll back (because of how many people have) can still use it>

With Plentiful Traditions no longer being maintained, I'll have to re-evaluate whether THIS mod will serve a purpose in the 2.X mod ecosystem. In the mean time, check out Tons of Traditions , which does include Expanded Stellaris Traditions.

Are you going to remove Plentiful Traditions since it is no longer going to be updated and replace it with Expanded Stellaris Traditions ??
