Genji Redux

Now he's got more blades than your body can handle.

Genji Shimada has gone AWOL from the Overwatch cell after finding out his brother, Hanzo, has been reported missing. XCOM has been requested to track him down, before he does something foolish...

Via a max difficulty Secure UFO mission spawned from a Covert Action that should appear around June, Genji's a more unique character compared to the vanilla version. He uses the Faction Hero system of levelling up, along with having a more unique loadout style. In exchange for ditching utility slots unless he happens to roll Tactical Rigging, he carries three weapons to the battlefield.

Genji carries three weapons, his Odachi, a highly accurate and powerful sword. His Wakizashi, a less accurate but lightweight secondary sword, and his Kunai, his backup option for range. Skills that use the Odachi focus on making it hit harder and ensuring anything it hits gets a hell of a thump, if it doesn't die.

Skills using the Wakizashi help Genji be a very mobile attacker, with Swift Strike allowing it to even outshine the Odachi every 5 turns or so.

Then finally, his kunai perks let him compete with normal firearms, with higher end perks even letting him stay in concealment while attacking from the shadows.

The Odachi and Wakizashi have their own separate schematics. The kunai upgrades with the Wakizashi, his armour upgrades with the rest of XCOM.

The Alternate Mod Launcher will list a conflict with mods with the same climb wall script file such as the MOCX Initiative, World War L, or ABA. This is a false positive.
