Whats up with all the fake workshop maps?

Noticed the workshop is full with "content" that just connect you to a server, what is the deal with that and why are they online that long?

yes I've noticed this, some Russians are gaming the system to get their stupid server map links to the top of workshop maps. With about 500 bot accounts.
