sure, but one thing that need to be sacrificed is - money. Gentlemans do not want to port core functionality from original SoC that is needed for SWR to work, because many think that EE is garbage, and for sure in terms of state of EE now and plans for GSC to make some work on future patches, I bet that moders will wait some finalisation on EE from GSC side first to not do double work if there will be major patches that will change many in game files.
