Game crashes and when restarting a message pops up "Game shut down unexpectedly on previous session. Would you like to enable safe more?"

I had a quest to escort a caravan. Upon being attacked by a second group of Looters or something and won, caravan had no soldiers in it and disappeared. But i kept moving because the city was very close. After I move my party a bit just outside a big City I get the crash. It happened out of nowhere and now every time I reload the game, it asks me if I want to run in safe mode and the exact same thing happens again. Move a bit and crash. Restarted many times, still the same. No mods. Any help please?
