Toybox locked at 1.5.11
As the title says, I think I got it in the workshop, but now I can't unsubscribe because the workshop is gone, but I can't update manually because Steam just blasts over it with the out of date and broken version.

Any advice?

Delete the workshop file in
<Steam installation>\steamapps\workshop\content\2186680\3107755014

Then install the new version manually.

That's weird, I don't have that, I appear to only have 241100, which is the controller configs as far as I know.

Have you any idea why launching the game would redownload the old version and replace the new one with it then?

Redownloading should only happen if you're still subscribed and have the files downloaded on your pc.
Deleting those downloaded files would normally fix the issue. Since that the case deleting the files at
2186680
(Rogue Trader AppID)
3107755014
(ToyBox ItemId) should fix this.

If you really can't find that file, I suggest updating ToyBox by leaving the workshopmanaged file in the folder and just replacing everything else. The game decides whether it needs to re-install the workshop item by looking for the workshopmanaged file.

Putting the files in over the top and doing a partial replacement did it, thanks for the help.

It's really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ but honestly you weren'T missing much, almost none of the mods worked because they were new patches almost weekly
And the few people actually kept updating are still on Nexus
