당신은 필요없겟지만 필요한사람도있습니다.
당신 생각만 하지마세요...
모드가 필요없으면 당신은 사용하지않아도됩니다.

You don't need it, but some people do.
Don't just think about yourself...
If you don't need the mod, you don't have to use it.

It would definitely be nice to not have to use Nexus

Mod Workshop 기능은 이제 필수이자 기본입니다.

The Mod Workshop feature is a must. It will eventually end and become boring. The Workshop feature is what keeps you playing. You can keep it going because you can download and share other users' fashions and features. But without the Mod Workshop feature, the game is boring and over.
The Mod Workshop feature is now a must and a basic.

It'd be pretty neat to have this.

Anyone else think it is really strange that the game has a Workshop discussion section despite not having workshop support?

Originally, this section was used for the faux multiplayer concept we had before true multiplayer. You could upload your base and others could go to it and walk around- even fly your ship. (we only had one back then)

I did it a couple of times but it was just odd. It was not the real game so you couldn't leave the area or anything. It was kind of like a real estate tour without the baking smells or agent chatting up the property.

Not sure why we need this if we can get mods at Nexus. At least for me, not something I want the Devs to waste their precious time on.

That logic also applies to the game, "why improve it when we already have this not as good as the improved thing".
A workshop would not only be a much better and seamless experience than using nexus mods, it would also bring a lot of publicity to modding which means a bigger modding community, you underestimated how good workshop would be, a workshop would be so good its comparable to a full game update.

Think bigger picture rather than just your own preferences.

While nexusmods is perfectly fine for people comfortable with how modding has been handled by the game, it has a much higher barrier to entry than a game where the developers actually build the mod support into it.

The game itself also has never been particularly friendly to modding, requiring constant updates for mods, which is not great for either modders or end-users. The patch notes indicate they worked on this aspect as well.

Robust mod support in the game itself, on the other hand, lowers both of those barriers to entry, which attracts both mod-users and modders who might otherwise have been avoiding it. This is a net-positive, because highly active modding communities are a very big factor in the long-term health of a game, which is something that everyone benefits from, even those who don't personally use mods themselves.

Although I agree with you that game's mod support is inadequate, Steam Workshop isn't a good option as NMS is a multi-store game (even with the possible updates for modding from Hello Games). There are many people who have bought the game from GOG or Microsoft Store and they can't use workshop.

Nexus wont stop existing just because workshop exists, in fact there might be a boost to nexus mods too because more people will look up mods.
