Can you edit the database? If you can, can you tell me/us how?

I managed to do it, not sure how, but its possible. Folder: Pro cycling manager 2016 --> Mod --> Default. And then overwrite the officialrealse DB :-)

and if i don't find the file in workshop... where do i find it then?

Databases which have been downloaded from the workshop will always be in the workshop folder. On a normal computer it would be here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\408760\
There are folders for every database you have downloaded.

The database which came with the game would be here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Pro Cycling Manager 2016\Database

But it is easier to download the (un)official real name database so that you don't have to fix all the names yourself. You can find it here:
