custom sandbox start?
Hello,

I'm looking for a simple start where you just begin with a ship and some credits, no space station or anything like that. Does anyone know of a workshop mod that provides such a thing? All the stock starts give you too much stuff. :P

Nope.
Vanilla "Humble" start has the HQ completely unbuilt, however.

That's a pity. Is it because there's no way to buy, make or conquer one in game?

Technically, you can create a sort of campaign mission where you end up with the HQ.
Actually, that is pretty much what the vanilla campaign does.
But it is complicated to do - it is certainly beyond my skill.
