Emerald Gate?
I presume Emerald Gate requires you to pickup at least one Emerald to allow you through? - Just tested and it lets you go through it without collecting any emeralds? At least in the Editor tester anyway.

The Emerald Gate just raises the amount of gems you need to complete the level by 1, regardless of how many gems you currently have.
