Kinda ruins my collection list though. It's so weird to see a checklist in one of them which kicks in my OCD. The people should also give their stuff a custom icon and first picture when their skin gets into a safe to make it clearer.
I shall do some research further into this, to see if we can get it sorted.
AFAIK it has to do with the revenue sharing -- that system works based on the assumption that skins accepted have a % of their SCM revenue shared with the creators. Since this is not the method used by OVERKILL to reward skinners, that option is unavailable.
If it's already in the game you can buy the skin you are interested in from the steam market or -- if you're feeling lucky, buying a safe and opening it.
