@MordeaniisChaos from what i understand you need to start the game as a scenario to have acurate starting locations, and in scenarions game speed is set and can't be changed.

Well... that's what Marathon does... How is the map itself different to accomodate for that extended play time? I know what Marathon is, I usually play on Marathon myself. I'm just curious why there's a special version for longer play.

It is just a really long drawn out version of the map. So you will stay in each era for a very long time.

I haven't ever had an issue with that. I am not honestly how to fix that.

Oil is invisable 90% of the time unless hoving over the square:S is there a fix??

The reosurces in the beginning are a bit sketchy with little Iron or Coal and only Oil being in the middle of the sclaes but Aluminium, and Uranium aren'rt hard to come by, but with many Oil and Uranium resources being in the Arctic and Antarctic regions, it seems a pain to have to colonise so much dewad land when in one of my games, Germany has conquered South and Central America with a few cities in Antarctica and one in Iceland which is a pain because there's good Aluminium there and that was my next place to settle, which, by now i've conquered Asia and Australisia and finding myself in need of Oil and Aluminium badly

I could edit the map, but it is made with the G&Ks. The catch is it doesn't include all the G&K Civs. I did it based on what I found best for growth. I know I still need to make one for those from France and Spain. The problem is if I sack europe with a ton of civs the rest of the world ends up free land. I found it takes out the fun.

When i played, i only got about 4 or 5 or the G&K Civs, can you edit this?

just hit submitt. Also do make sure your all hitting load in the game setup screen. That should fix the locations and what not.

is there a mod where great general or 1st division unit can move the borders further away of the other civ that you are in war. like my unit coquered that tile and thats now my ground. or are there similar mods

I don't have a mac. I can suggest to subscribe. It is done through steam. So I would imagine it isn't that different from the PC version.

it is technically Multiplayer. You have to do a hot seat game. If you do some reading you will find currently they won't let user created maps online. I am not sure why it would be a big deal, but at the moment I can't.

Alright, I really want to be very clear on this. Although, I thought most would know how to install and play, but see we have some issues. So I have decided to make this as clear as possible. if you follow my instructions every nation placed will start where they are meant to. As for the Gods and Kings Version is very different with almost a ton of different Civilizations. So if you want more Civilizations get my Gods and Kings version.

Installations and play instructions:

!. Start Civ V
2. First Menu and click Mods
3. Look at your Mod list find Near Perfect Earth and enable it.
4. click next
5. click single player
6. set up game
7. click map type
8. click NearPerfectEarth Gods and Kings
9. Then pick the nation you want to start with.

I am sorry that the game won't allow you to chose and change the speed of the game. I have tried the game in two different speeds. I will come out with a marathon version. This however is the Standard version. I do hope people like it.
