ITS AWSOME mixing old fashion outfit Morion (Renaissance Helmet of Iberia) armour, with "modern" ones, back package and Musket. To cool this new Portuguese Unit.

can u make a same pack but without the non-history like units..for example wtf is this monk line infantry or the portuguese and samurai line inf...can u plzz??

The Portuguese Mercenaries are possibly my favorite unit in this game so far. Not because they are particularly good at fighting or even that they have any special abilities or anything... I just think they look cool. 
I guess that makes me a pretty bad General, but war is like an Earthquake: There is no sense in worrying about trivial things like winning or loosing - only camera opportunities. ;)

How do make mods work? I click on the thing when I launch the game and none of the units or anything show up? I have the ROTS DLC and what all, if that makes any difference.

Your aplologies are not needed, but thank you. (I also noticed an amusing co-incidence: "Blackthorn" is the name of the main character in a book I've read which is set in Feudal Japan.)

However, the other subscribers (such as dico10) who have had similar issues may still need help, so if you could fix those small issues, that would be good, not that I want to put any pressure on you at all. Perhaps Sengoku Jidai (or whatever it's called) is required for the model or texture for that unit.

Still, could you perhaps find a cure?

Ah! It is in fact semmingly only the Portugese Mercinaries which cause an immediate crash- the others are just unstable (about 10% chance of crashing halfway through a battle).

I have had the same problem as "ftullo96," only I had installed the Blackthorn mod first. If I run just those two mods without any others, the game crashes at about the 10% mark when loading the battle, in any battle which uses units from the extra units mod. I find this most frustrating, as I have Shogun 2 with FOTS and can't work out what is going wrong.
