Would be great to change the AI so that it deals with rebellions too. With vanilla AI, I've seen Chosokabe sending their army out of their only remaining town while having public order issues. The next turn, a rebellion took their town and the faction disappeared. Same with Hatakeyama going to war with its neighbours only to loose half its territory to rebellions while their armies are on the front.

AI seems to deal with rebellions pretty good in my campaigns, only one other defeated clan revolts if the AIs spent a lot of time in the wars and fights in multiple fronts

People should do whatever they want. No one cares if you break the balance in a single player experience. Games are about having fun not adhering to the challenge designed by the developer. Some people enjoy overcoming that challenge some people like breaking the game. Also this game can be broken without mods so it's not like the game is perfectly balanced anyway. Your opinion is silly.
Tyler 2. juni 2024 kl. 11:31
thats why you should only download visual mods, anything else is left up to armchair game designers to break the intended balance of the game.
Boltte man 21. apr. 2024 kl. 15:52
well thats too bad
Tyler 21. apr. 2024 kl. 11:16
the ai doesnt know how to deal with revolts and public order, it wasn't designed that way, this mod essentially breaks the ai and the intended challenge of the game.
Argakyan 25. jan. 2024 kl. 8:27
my experience is this makes the game playable at all, the AI loses provinces to revolts while remaining a serious threat.
Tyler 7. jan. 2024 kl. 10:27
this breaks intended ai behavior and game mechanics, makes game way too easy
Evil 3. dec. 2023 kl. 20:23
Is this mod still working I can't tell.
awa 8. juli 2023 kl. 20:12
new faction emerging almost every other turn and no ai expanding, makes it pretty easy imo
awa 8. juli 2023 kl. 20:09
kinda silly because the AI doesn't account for rebellions, with buildings or garrisons. I watched an AI hattori capture Omi and the very next turn just move their army out and then lose it to rebellion. Good mod but breaks the ai because the ai is dumb.

Does not appear to work, but it could just be my mod arrangement.
then again, mod is from 10 years ago.
SargonTG 15. juli 2022 kl. 10:40
this mod is just genius, i always wondered how the AI could steamroll in this game and it finally makes sense
viemäri_lohi 27. sep. 2021 kl. 4:43
@DonuteatermaN The mod only alters db files in campaign_difficulty_handicap_effects. There's no audio files or alteration of tables that affect them. If you have a mod that changes unit_stats_land or unit_tables then that's probably causing the sound bug. Use Sinfonia Semplica to fix that.
Boltte man 29. maj 2021 kl. 1:46
what weapon sound? the archer cannon fire sound effect? hahahaha
DonuteatermaN 26. maj 2021 kl. 18:17
Mod Author snuck in his personal taste in weapon sound.
Atleast make a disclaimer dude, wtf.
Boltte man 4. maj 2021 kl. 21:29
Needs update - keeps crashing the game on load, all other mods load fine ingame and this is the only one thats crashing it so please fix!
Stupido 10. sep. 2019 kl. 9:12
is there a mod that alos gives penalty to other clans for territorial expansion???
MF Shroom 12. aug. 2019 kl. 22:39
nice, thank you. are there any other mods that remove the arbitray buffs the AI gets on harder difficulties?
Tricosis 25. juli 2019 kl. 2:04
Hey there! Would you mind if I added this to the Unofficial Shogun 2 Patch mod? I will make sure to credit you accordingly. :)
FinetalPies 13. sep. 2018 kl. 22:58
By "Effect reduced -50" do you mean 50% or 50 points?

Because occupation resistance, like, hovers under 20 for most of the game
=>FEED ME !!!<= 30. jan. 2018 kl. 7:37
It's not working! I edited the .pack file for Hard+Legendary with 0 value as Easy and Normal, but AI still got no resistance, both in save game and new game.
Howyadoinmon 2. maj 2017 kl. 14:45
Love it, seeing a lot more little clans this way.
horselats 16. feb. 2017 kl. 6:17
Folks, what exactly about this mod isn't working? I checked it out in PFM, and everything's fine...
justinsane11 22. nov. 2016 kl. 13:40
hey Dr. Sandbitch if your gonna go out of your way to leave a dumbass useless comment you could at least say why. has this been adressed in a patch or are you just being a prick? it's so hard to tell
☩☧Pray The Rosary☧☩ 11. aug. 2016 kl. 21:59
isnt working
Chaython 30. juli 2016 kl. 15:36
So AI will actually revolt for once?
The ai has so many handicaps in the game,
they should make the battle ai better and stop giving campaign handicaps
Aarongamma6 30. maj 2016 kl. 9:23
It doesnt work? 2 Days ago I had this running and my neighboring enemy Clan lost to their uprising so... Seems to work fine for me
Korthor 24. maj 2016 kl. 0:24
hahahahah take this cheating ai scum
Sivilus 4. maj 2015 kl. 8:11
So, this mod work or daniu -TLG- totally abandoned it ?
Schneeblind 8. feb. 2015 kl. 9:58
stoped working for me
Kram Noollow 22. dec. 2014 kl. 9:34
Im afraid this mod serves no purpose anymore. bye.
Umbra 9. dec. 2014 kl. 20:27
Oh. Name of the farm mod is Double Farm Values by Charsi.
Umbra 9. dec. 2014 kl. 20:21
Just a heads up. This mod now conflicts with the double farm values. It used to work with it, but for whatever reason it suddenly stopped.
jdogge 30. nov. 2014 kl. 1:38
in rome 2 i only occupy and make big cities and theres always resistance i buit loads of positive public order things
rincarsarff 17. nov. 2014 kl. 19:00
Mr. Auther man Daniu could you tell me where you changed this AI resistance, or just overall make another mod just like this for ROME II. Its absolute bullcrap that they don't have to deal with unhappiness.
[FFS]Hank Hill did nothing wrong 2. okt. 2014 kl. 12:35
restitance can be annoying like in total war rome. Also note that Japan didn't have revolts because there was no non japanese power that ever invaded japan.
daniu -TLG-  [ophavsmand] 20. aug. 2014 kl. 9:37
@Challenge Accepted as far as I know, if both have the same mods installed, you can play an MPC together, but I haven't tried it myself.
The Communist Toaster 20. aug. 2014 kl. 7:40
Will this work in multiplayer? For example if me and my friend subscribed to this mod will we be able to play a co-op campaign and have this mod active?
The_Yogi 16. aug. 2014 kl. 7:26
No, this make the populace angry when the AI invade.
In another words, usually AI can cheat as they don't have to get "Resistance to Invaders" effect for several turns after Occupation, unlike Human Players.
✡︎☭ Farmuhan ☭✡ 1. juni 2014 kl. 6:26
i still don't understand with this mod
Jura Lith 14. apr. 2014 kl. 9:37
so this makes the ai populace angry when u invade?
MacheteCry 21. mar. 2014 kl. 3:15
so it will have immediate effect or i need to start a new game ?
Draika 15. mar. 2014 kl. 23:46
Really?!? I ALWAYS wondered how Takeda could control a billion more cities a turn and yet keep having stable and happy cities! *Subscribes*
Slend 18. jan. 2014 kl. 21:14
Dat picture
Yvetten 11. jan. 2014 kl. 6:02
love it!
Darren 16. dec. 2013 kl. 9:44
This mod seems useful.
Line Line Dash House 16. okt. 2013 kl. 12:53
lol
Vark 13. okt. 2013 kl. 13:43
After playing some in a campaign with this mod I'm convinced the AI doesn't know how to handle severe unhappiness and was probably never intended to. After taking a settlement they barge ahead to the next province with their full army leaving an empty fort with angryface behind. :P
