Звёздный крейсер "Галактика" из оригинального фильма считается тяжелым авианесущим кораблём. Нес на себе ядерные баллистические ракеты, артиллерию.

Он не может приземляться на планеты. Работает только космосе и с орбиты.

@thomas.goertz: Es ist ganz bewusst so gemacht. Es sollten möglichst nicht zu viele Ressourcen benötigt werden, damit auch auf Servern die Möglichkeit besteht es zu Bauen, ohne jahrelang zu Rohstoffe abzubauen. Wie gesagt es ist nur eine Hülle mit dem Nötigsten zum selber ausstatten. Es gibt im Workshop ja noch andere Modelle vielleicht ist da ja etwas passendes für Dich dabei. ;-)

Auch sollten alle bereiche des Schiffs Sauerstoff haben auch der Hanger !

Zu kleine Hanger die im Film kommten locker Transporter aufnehmen was dieses Schiff nicht kann und vieles mehr !

@Jm69 Did you install many weapons? Or very many installations? There are also unfamiliar blocks for example alien blocks. Look what you have installed.

Kind of odd that there isn't Ammo boxes and Oxygen tanks from the get go. I like the indents on the ship. It gives a bit of extra protection to turrets and lets me outfit it the way I like.

Actually, by pixel measurements, I think my space port could handle about 2/9 of its length.

Looks cool. Pretty sure I can fit 1/3 of it on my spaceport. 1/3 or 1/2 or somewhere in between.

By George you were right BanditFly, I sincerely apologize Snow, I thought I had gone through every sub catagory and turned them all on.....Yes once those RCS2's are turned on she handles very nicely.

I do like the fact that we get to outfit her weapon/detail wise as well....very nice creation.

Samwyse--The RCS2s aren't activated upon spawn. Turn them on and it handles like a dream!

This is so well done! It is the only base I'll ever need. Question is, can I afford to fuel it? LOL

Thank you for the value of my work. The Ship is designed for playability and can be built with the materials in the start system. Individual details you can install yourself. I hope you have fun retrofit and wish you a good flight in to the stars. :)

I spawned the ship and while it does look very closely like the Galactica it does need some work specifically on the Thrusters, The ship handles nicely for a CV up and down , foward and back, it has some movement left and right however it seems to lack any ability to roll on its long axis. I think you might want to work on that and perhaps update this afterwards. Still darn handsome looking ship though.

For those of you who are having trouble with the thrusters, don't forget to check to make sure that ALL the thrusters are activated....hitting Y to power the ship up is only the first step, sometimes I have found that individual thrusters spawn deactivated and you just have to go in and make sure that they are all turned on......just trying to offer a suggestion. Can't wait to spawn this beautiful looking Battlestar.

Please add a ship info screen shot and mats list.

@Shin had the same problem, hop in a cockpit, fuel it and turn it off and on, seemed to work for me. hope this helps

Ever since I started this game I have wanted to build a galactica. And you knocked it out of the park with something better then I could have made . And leaving it for small details to be added and a low unlock was a great Idea thanks. Love it!!!
