This is pretty useful, although your difficulty select section seems to be incorrect. It's supposed to start at doom_skill 0 (for "I'm too young to die!"), but your starts at doom_skill 1. So, each option in your menu is one higher than it's supposed to be (selecting "Ultra-Violence." actually enables "Nightmare!", for instance).

I tend to get a lot of comments from people who think I'm the same guy who made gmDOOM and wanting me to update gmDOOM.

in the built in menu for gmdoom there is a pitch zeroing option and i just think it would be faster to use the context menu to toggle it than have to use the arrow keys through gmdoom's menu

The reason that this hasn't gotten an update in 7 years is because there is nothing to update it with.

It is a basically a fanmade DLC for gmDOOM (which stopped getting updates even further back) that does nothing but make the commands of the main mod more accessible to people who don't know how to use console commands or otherwise just want easier access to the gmDOOM commands.

I cannot express this enough, I did not make gmDOOM, I cannot update gmDOOM. So unless pitch-zeroing is possible with commands in the source engine already and I didn't know about it, you are asking the wrong guy to add things.

Yeah links to wad downloads are forcibly removed from Steam posts, and workshop mods either containing the wads or using such links are banned from the workshop too because Valve considers it to be piracy and they don't allow piracy on Steam.

That's because the way gmDOOM Maps work is it makes each map out of like 100+ objects.

It's part of why it's the jankiest doom port.

sure it takes time to put every enemy but playing through the levels you made can be fun literally it's just playing doom but you make your own levels easily how is that so stupid dude?...it's literally for a good purpose and you can really get creative with this addon

it isn't stupid if you wanna play doom in gmod literally one of the coolest things about this is literally making YOUR own doom levels so yes do pay 5$ for doom to make gmdoom work so you can make your own doom levels

@Holly Blocky Christmas The purpose of the mod is not just to play Doom, but to Gmod-type-stuff with doom things, like, for example, spawn 50 cyberdemons and have them fight 30 striders, or use the doom weapons in some map that wasn't made for them. Or whatever else you could think of, the point is that this is mashing up the two games, not turning one into the other.
