The demo button is probably better than this, as you have a choice to enable it or not. Change the cvar “kHasDemoButton” to one, and a button will appear on the main menu that does the same thing as screensaver mode.

Perhaps this screensaver could pop up if no input is coming for about 5mins, making use as an actual screensaver and pausing the game until any input is given.
This mode could also activate in pause screen and get manually activated there, along with setting time until screensaver pops up, set to 0 meaning switched off.

Hope this mod gets more popular ^^

Ok, I tried this, and t's kinda cool, but... How do I turn it off without un-subbing?...
Un-ubbing until I find out how to turn it off when not wanted.
