If you lack the technical know-how to do so then all I can offer are my assurances that it's perfectly safe. The amount of access an addon has to your computer is fairly limited, addons cannot for example read or write to files outside of your Garry's Mod directory. I also believe you can only write to text files.
If a developer wishes to gain more access to the computer they'd have to include a .dll addon, which I don't think can be uploaded to the workshop.
That being said I cannot guarantee that this addon even still works, we haven't updated it since 2017 and there may have been breaking updates to Garry's Mod since then.
It also lagspikes on seemingly any directory with a lot of files, so whenever these directory failures occur, there's a lagspike.
