@all Hey, guys, if anyone is still here, there will be a big rework of Butcher's sprites and skills i wanted to make long time ago. It will come as fully seperate mod, so you decide whether to use the new or the old one. Not saying i'm really back into DD modding, but i'm glad i almost finished this one. So, who knows, maybe i'll think of some other reworks or even classes, but i can't really promise you that. I will post a rework within a week, hope you guys will like it.

Мод хорош но только в плане самого геймплэя, сам персонаж внешне сделан ну уж очень плохо. Я бы мог как-нибудь на досуге перерисовать его полностью включая все иконки навыков и предметов, у меня уже есть даже кое какие эскизы нового внешнего вида. Правда эта работа может занять много времени, так как свободное время у меня бывает крайне редко. Best mod for the game! Lore friendly and very fun to play. However, I would choose the brigand hunter or fusilier look for the character. Maybe you can change it in the future :)

Good idea regarding the aimed shot. I did also think about this. The Musketeer mod I'm currently using also uses this same targetting. I did also consider going to other way with it, targetting 1-2-3 and not the 4th. The reason being his gun looking more shotgun/blunderbus than rifle/sniper. This just being from a cosmetic stand-point though.

Yeah, I get you about Cowering Fire. It would make more sense considering its usefulness. It would set him up as being more of a houndmaster/maa cross over. Ranged attack and guard/ripost with a couple of buffs. My only thought would be to change the buff he has. If you're in 4th position then you'd be limited once you've got your one-time buffs off. Perhaps lowering how strong it is in favour of multi use, or even giving it an extra charge?

@Kope thats very interesting ideas you have there! First, i'm still thinking about buckshot's rework, and your changes can also affect it, so as soon as i will figure out what i want from that skill, i'll make changes accordingly. Second, Stand and Deliver's damage will be lowered, just like you did, but there will be some minor changes to Aimed Shot as well, first position won't be targetable, so you will have to choose between SaD, or rely on your allies to handle enemy's vanguard.
Lastly, i made Cowering Fire used from position 4, because of it's power. Not only you guard your ally, but also get riposte, which is pretty good, other classes guard skills doesn't have this feature.
This is why requirements for this skill is kind of brutal: you need to place him behind everyone even characters with low max HP, like healers or antiquarian.

So I've been playing around with a few changes regarding his buckshot skill and my favourite has been the low acc (75-95%. Might make it even lower) double stun.
I also made a slight change to 'Stand and Deliver'. I've nerfed the dam modifier to -20%. This just makes 'Aimed Shot' more competative against the front units, as there's no reason you wouldn't use SaD always in that position.
The only other small change I made was letting 'Cowering Fire' be used from both position 3 & 4. It just helped get more use when considering his position with, more often than not, my healer.

What do you think? I don't want to deviate too much from your core design of the class. :)

Awesome! Yeah, the protection is a great idea.

I was also thinking about changing 'Buckshot' completely myself, as it feels very similar to 'Hound's Harry'. Here's what I thought..

Low Acc, Decent Dam, Bleed. Move Back 1 - Launch 1,2,3 Target 1&2

Would give him more options for escaping the frontline in conjunction with his other move back skill, or when wanting to switch from possition 3 to use your guard ability if needed. The low Acc would also synergize well with his crit buff +Acc. I did consider a low probability stun chance instead of bleed, like 65% base, which would also work well with your other mod class - Butcher. The skill itself also looks more solid thematically speaking in terms of targeting and what buckshot represent.

@Kope yep, -crit on buckshot is one of changes in next updates, also, lowered hp seems right, as i will add some protection on some trinkets, instead of dodge, which is almost useless on him

I did actually do my own minor change to one of the skill 'Buckshot' to have much less crit chance (-5% lvl1) just to keep it balanced with the base classes. I do this with nearly every class mod aoe skill I install though, as they all tend to be super high. I also lowered his health points across the board because they too were a little high imo :)

Maybe change Take Aim to where you can only do it once, but it also helps with increasing bypassing skills. Like bypass guard and armor percing.
