@Sallie Mae: They are going through a Chapter 11 bankruptcy restructuring phase right now. I would not be surprised if more closes come forward -- as for the offices I cannot say if the corporation will fold entirely.

Funny thing is their parent company is here in my hometown of Topeka, and just made an announcement to close the last remaining stores for Topeka. Funny that their home offices will stay open but not the stores.
