I recall that there was a modding update two patches ago, maybe it broke things.

Updated to the current version, if it still doesn't work you can try editing your config.ini file to make it a default mod, it's Saved Games/EugenSystems/SteelDivision/mod/config.ini, add 935480551 after ActivatedMods = (if you have more default mods separate them by | )

For some reason, this mod simply will not activate. Every time it asks to restart the game after enabling the mod, it won't be checked when I come back. It doesn't say it's out of date and it doesn't say it's incompatible with anything.

Yes, reskins and UI mods work in multiplayer lobbies, but the changes will be visible only for you. Every mod disables Ranked and Quickplay, tho.

In general do mods like this work in multiplayer if my opponent doesn't have them? Sorry is this is a newbish question.

That's strange, is it still the case? Anyone else has this problem?

Check out the modding manual in Steel Division/Mods folder, it's all explained there.

It still says that the mod is outdated, despite having been updated today, and is still not working.

I can select the mod from the mod list, click apply, have the game restart up and load, and it will still alert me that the mod is out of date, AND it will show that the mod has not been checked when I look at the mod list. Not sure WHY this is the case.

Please teach me how to make a skin or show me somone or somthing that can!

BTW, finally had time to update to the current game version, the game updates shouldn't break the mod but the warning message sure is annoying :)

Well, I updated, generated and uploaded the mod, it still shows the message, at least on my end.

I had the same issue once with my mod eMeM. The message disappeared as soon as I uploaded it. In clear, I had the message after updating and generating the mod, but not after uploading it.
