Wait, the values for XP gained don't change between difficulties; its the heroes' XP Thresholds for leveling-up that shrink, and only on Radiant. Then, what does that first table describe?
Is this mod outdated?
mlamlah 17.5.2023 klo 12.05
mod works fine. anything that effects mission rewards can overwrite this based on load order. this includes mods that effect the quest reward payout.
Blaystro 30.4.2023 klo 13.35
Not working. Did 10 quests (5 without mod and 5 with mod) and the exp didn't changed. I have no other mod changing exp.
KPG - Arturo 28.3.2023 klo 11.45
Does this mod still work?
Voidwalker 25.8.2022 klo 8.10
I found the reason. Ive used the other mod "Level 2 & 4 quests" on top of it, and it overlapped the experience bonus, could you look into that problem by any chance?
Voidwalker 24.8.2022 klo 15.32
It doesnt work for me
DW 16.4.2021 klo 20.45
The mod doesnt seem to work boss:stress:
Kiananah  [tekijä] 13.7.2020 klo 10.58
I've received no word of it not working in the current build, so it should be fine. As for the balance, I listed the values of the base game and what the mod changes then to. But in general the amount of resolve gained is meant to be more, but not game breaking, instant level uping. Challenges such as Boss battles and long dungeons are also more rewarding by a significant amount. :slimetabby: Hope this helps!

Does this mod still work with current versions of the game? How much does it affect the game balance also? I'm midway into a campaign and just want to lessen the grind to get characters up to decent standards, it's irritating sometimes.
tryhardlsr 18.9.2019 klo 11.12
yes they still don't want to send lv3 into lv1 dungeon. My only issue is I am having a hard time getting cash. Still fairly new to the game and havent figured out how to get lots of gold fast
Kiananah  [tekijä] 18.9.2019 klo 3.34
@ScrmblesThDethDealr It can be seen as a slight challenge in that way, but I also tried to make sure the boosted amount was not anything drastic, with the exceptions of the boss battles which I thought deserved a larger reward. The plus side to a higher level is that your heros are more resistant to debuffs and a bonus to trap disarming. If I remember correctly I also removed level restrictions on dungeons so higher level heros won't refuse to go to easy dungeons. If I am wrong on that though I would recommend subscribing to a mod like that to help out.
tryhardlsr 17.9.2019 klo 20.32
Question: After using this mod, isn't this a bad thing? I mean, you want to be able to grind low level ez mode quests to gather up gold and stuff right? Doesn't this mod just push all your heroes to harder missions faster and you might not, in my case; have the proper gear yet...
elderazi 24.6.2019 klo 2.15
i want some one to make a mod where u can gain more lvls such as 8 or 9
PrinceVinc 24.2.2019 klo 16.50
Radiant gives less exp than Darkest? I thought Radiant was supposed to give more exp/need less exp according to the wiki.
NeVeRLiFt 6.2.2019 klo 18.01
this might help
https://darkestdungeon.gamepedia.com/Expedition#Resolve
seems there is no difference between Radiant/Darkest/Stygian/Bloodmoon... it is only Apprentice/Veteran/Champion and then Short/Medium/Long
NeVeRLiFt 22.1.2019 klo 16.21
going by the chart you posted ...
Darkest/Short is supposed to be giving 6 and is only giving 3
Darkest/Medium is giving the proper 10
Darkest/Long is giving 18 and is only supposed to give 16
NeVeRLiFt 18.1.2019 klo 4.04
You are very welcome and thank you for the Quality of Life improvement your mod provides!
RNGesus does not forgive, so we need all the help we can get.

Kiananah  [tekijä] 18.1.2019 klo 3.57
I went in and check the value for Apprentice and sure enough, a pesky little 2 was there instead of a 3. :papyruswacky: Fixed it and just uploaded the update. Thanks so much for the thorough bug test!
NeVeRLiFt 18.1.2019 klo 3.48
I did a Darkest/Short/Champion - Ruins run and it gave 8 resolve. (heroes were lvl5)
Next I did a Darkest/Short/Apprentice - Cove run and it gave 2 resolve. (heroes were lvl1)
And last I did a Darkest/Short/Veteran - Ruins and it gave 9 resolve. (heroes were lvl3)

So there you go... it looks like if you tweaked the Apprentice resolve, it would be okay.

So from what I see with the three runs it looks like only the Apprentice is not being boosted to give more resolve.

Thank you for updating your mod and I hope you tweak it until you get it the way you want it or just boost the Apprentice resolve.

Kiananah  [tekijä] 18.1.2019 klo 3.32
Alright, there may be a mod conflict as well, anything changing resolve, gold, or trinket rewards from quests will most likely conflict with this.
NeVeRLiFt 18.1.2019 klo 0.30
I have all the DLC and I had run a lot dungeons before I finally got some new low levels to level.
It been since the 13th with the mod installed with the new version and I had run dungeons a lot each day.

I'm going to unsub and run a dungeon and then resub and run two dungeons and I will post back my results.
Kiananah  [tekijä] 17.1.2019 klo 21.35
Hm, have you done one dungeon so new ones generate? Or a new campaign? I've also included the DLC so do you have both colors of madness and crimson court? If not, it could be an incompatibility with DLC and I could separate them.
NeVeRLiFt 17.1.2019 klo 20.40
I tested this just now and unsubbed and resubbed and have it at the top of my load order and I'm sorry to say... it is not working.

If there is anything I can do to help test it please just let me know.
:stress:
NeVeRLiFt 13.1.2019 klo 0.34
Nice work! Thank you again for updating it.
Kiananah  [tekijä] 12.1.2019 klo 16.26
Woohoo! After searching, I was able to get my orginal file info through steam, update some info, and upload it. It's not completely done yet, but the main missions should now give more resolve. I'll be adding support for plot quests (bosses), events such as the corvid and invasion, darkest dungeon, crimson court, and colors of madness next.
NeVeRLiFt 12.1.2019 klo 15.07
Thank you!
Kiananah  [tekijä] 12.1.2019 klo 15.06
Thank you for the offer, but this will give me a chance to create compatibility for DLC and plot quests, something that I've been wanting to do for a bit. (but I procrastinate a lot :alphys:) So keep an eye out for the new mod most likely later today. I'll link it from this one as well. :sans:
NeVeRLiFt 12.1.2019 klo 14.57
I could send you the files if need be?
And thank you so much for updating or making a new version of it.

I wish I could get Maester Silvio to update his Repeatable Quests mod... it was broken in the Dec 5th patch as well. :(
Kiananah  [tekijä] 12.1.2019 klo 14.55
@NeVeRLiFt Alright, thanks for testing it out. Unfortunately I no longer have the mod files for this mod after some computer complications. I can however create a new and updated one and mark this as obsolete.
NeVeRLiFt 12.1.2019 klo 1.41
@Kiananah this mod is no longer working

I just tested this mod after seeing the comments that it is no longer working, and even with it at the top of my load order.... it does not work.
The patch Darkest Dungeon got on Dec 5th must have broke this mod.
Deep_Sea_Dragon 26.11.2018 klo 7.59
Seconded; isn't working for me either, even after refreshing quests
I can do this all day 18.8.2018 klo 12.05
i think this mod need an update
Salty Biscuit 21.6.2018 klo 18.59
working ty
Kiananah  [tekijä] 21.6.2018 klo 17.25
@Salty Biscuit
I was using the code format from a past version of the game, but I have now updated it! Let me know if there are anymore issues. Thanks!
Salty Biscuit 21.6.2018 klo 14.39
mod busted, only show apprentice runs and nothing higher
Ghostish 12.4.2018 klo 19.01
Hm. That could be it. I was editing the actual game files so that could be the reason why. I'll try out what you suggested. Thank you!
Kiananah  [tekijä] 11.4.2018 klo 22.05
Oh and do be sure to make it as a mod, and not in the actual game files. That could be a reason that the edited values don't work.
Kiananah  [tekijä] 11.4.2018 klo 22.01
In quest generation there is a section called resolve_xp_table, the values are located there. There will be three 0's then values under that set. Leave the top value zero, (I think it might be dungeon fail but im not sure) but the 3 values under will be what you edit. It will be short, medium, and long dungeon resolve giveouts respectively. This repeats for each diffculty setting. So 3 sets, and 9 values to edit. Hopes this describes it well enough.
Ghostish 11.4.2018 klo 17.32
Yeah, I did some digging around a few days ago and have been messing around with the values since then, but for whatever reason it doesn't work. I've even tried something ridiculous as +15/20 resolve for Apprentice Short to see results ,but no matter what values I edit it doesn't seem to be working. I've been editing quest.generation.json but to no avail. How were you able to make it work?
Kiananah  [tekijä] 10.4.2018 klo 20.56
The way it works is that the resolve is dependant on the difficulty level and dungeon length. Special dungeons like boss dungeons and the crimson court have their own resolve amount set. If you do want to try your hand at a personal mod, the values are in DarkestDungeon\campaign\quest and I just used notepad to change the values. However, I would consider a cheat version of this mod to upload, but I dont know if it would be all dungeons, or perhaps only the boss quests that give large amounts of resolve.
Ghostish 10.4.2018 klo 19.35
It's more like I've grown kinda tired of the grinding aspect and was wondering if there was a way to increase the resolve gain values myself depending on what I think is too easy or not fast enough for me. I'm not quite sure what I want these values to be yet. X;
Kiananah  [tekijä] 10.4.2018 klo 15.29
There is no way to change the values per individual, but if you have an amount you would like to see I could put up a second mod with new values.
Ghostish 10.4.2018 klo 14.14
Is there a way to modify these values ourselves?
Alex0600 26.11.2017 klo 10.01
Thanks!
Kiananah  [tekijä] 25.11.2017 klo 22.46
@Hobbes @Crusader
The mod has been rebalanced and updated with the xp given
Alex0600 24.11.2017 klo 18.00
it doubles xp gain i think (it gives people 4 xp)
Baron von Gosu 3.7.2017 klo 20.59
How much xp does this offer for dungeons versus those in the vanilla game?

ØGThor 22.6.2017 klo 19.39
It's not working for me after crimson court, was using it before fine.
Kiananah  [tekijä] 19.6.2017 klo 23.02
@Philocetes Thanks for the heads up!
soup 19.6.2017 klo 23.01
This mod DOES work with Crimson Court.
