This is actually really creative, and actually feels balanced in the way that you have to either sacrifice health, or use external means which can be hard to produce, which feels justified, especially for a key.

@Stewartsaurus -88-, no but not because of the trinket itself. If you look at Isaac's speed when he's jumping (because of How To Jump) you'll notice that it's actually 0. Since we can't look at the code for the original item I can't really say why.

If How To Jump changed Isaac's speed normally then it would work.

To be honest i would call it battering ram since you need to rush into a keyhole or something to open it. However this is a really clever mod i like it a lot !

@Enzo1403, your speed stat translates to a certain velocity length value. All you have to do is go over it slightly. For example, at 1.00 speed, Isaac's velocity length is about 4.41 where the speed to beat is 4.42 (every so slightly over the velocity length).

@Enzo1403, maybe that was a confusing way to explain it. Given Isaac's speed stat, there is a maximum possible speed at which he can walk. If you somehow manage to break that limit (explosions or a fart for example) while hitting a locked object, it will unlock.

What exactly is meant with speed greater than his maximum? How can you be greater than the maximum?
