It's not that I overlooked portal bumping, it's that I don't care ;p

I've played this game long enough, I don't really want to clean up valve's mess anymore. And it doesn't look as good with a light strip or broken surface there anyways :(

No? Then it's puzzling that you allowed the bump around the fizzler.

I found your intended solution just now, but I didn't bother looking for it before because I immediately saw the easy portal bump and figured that must have been what you intended. Top designers like you usually don't overlook things like that.
