I found what I think is the door to the secret room in the under ground, the hand print. But I won't open. I makes a noise and then nothing. Also I found a possible glitch with the Portal Gun. Instead of sending me to the other portal, the game/map/addon sends me to a random point in the map's void.

I hope I understood you correctly. After you find the room, you need to turn on the generator and go upstairs. At the top is a mini-game in which you need to win the gnome, a little later it will be needed for further passage. In the same room where the gnome is, you need to find a hidden button that opens the door;) (In the same place you later win the key for the door)

so I found the L4D safe room thing and its contents.. I know there is a secret room in the underground other than the one that needs a key. What do I do?
