Dowry should be derived from rank of the family and their overall wealth. Should add an interesting motive for grooms seeking richly endowed brides. Fathers would have to set up the dowry from their fortune and hand over to daugthers when they marry. If she happens to be a ruler or in matrilinear succession, the money stays in her possession, in all other cases the husband will take the money over for he'd be the head of the family.
What do you think? Is that something you would like to do?

Yesterday something came across my mind, maybe you would like to make it come real as a mod? I don't see in the game the important marriage factor 'DOWRY'. In many cultures, the father of a bride is supposed to equip her with some wealth when she is marrying, for the start of her household. Goes back to Roman customs and law and thus appropriate during all times until fading out in 20th century (in Europe).
Looked for an existing mod under keyword 'dowry' and got no result. It's strange as dowry was such important feature. Maybe Paradox skipped it because of fear of getting accused of anti-feminist content. Don't know. But we should implement it for historical accuracy.

I have a small collection of your mods, evergreenly appreciated, most of all the "brothel business" which from time to time floods my treasure incredibly. Extra income when I release prostitutes and have them arrested the next moment, so their savings become mine (yes I know that is very bad conduct, but we are all behaving bad in CK, aren't we? :) .

Been using a bunch of your mods for a long time. Your mods are always simple but good ideas, and often feel like they should be part of vanilla. Thanks for all your effort in making my favourite game even better, mate! Prolific modders like you are what make CK2 awesome!
