As far as I know we aren't able to edit the original models. You can change textures, or you can add new models. I don't have any experience modeling though. I only edit textures/tables. Just the little stuff I do is more complicated than any other game I've tried modding.

You aren't able to edit the models? Can you export the model, select the phones, and click delete? Donno though, may have to re import and then deal with it not fitting on the body.

I've wanted to do that on several items, but unfortunately most items don't have a transparent layer or whatever. When you try to erase them they show up as a white glowing blob. No way to hide them by obscuring vids or anything else that I've seen either =(. If there's a way to do it I haven't seen it on the modding forums.

There's a top that's been in the game since SR3, called something like "Music Junkie", and it's a nice tank-top an all, very good to look at :), but it has these headphones on it. Can you clone the item and take them off?

It's a reskin of the dildo bat already in the game. Also it has upgrades unlike the default dildo bat. If you have a goofy and/or dark sense of humour, you should like it! :D
