Holy fucking, this is great. I love how the rooms have all the same design so it's easy to get lost

How did you get a custom model in? I can't really seem to be able to do that
Phalanx 16. juli 2020 kl. 6:05
Why is Portal 2 such a good horror game? I mean the game is rated 12 in my country and look what you can do with this game.
AnormalDude 29. apr. 2020 kl. 7:49
nevermind it fixed it self somehow. Probaly turning the game off and on worked. Great game btw
AnormalDude 29. apr. 2020 kl. 3:33
i really like this map but i can't play it anymore. For some reason after i won some textures wouldn't wanna load anymore. The gnome, your friends, the gouls and spinny things on the pipes. Is there anyway to fix this, I would so love to get the friends ending.
lmao 9. jan. 2020 kl. 4:02
ITs too harddd
Silverfish003 17. juli 2019 kl. 13:50
Entered the first room, feeling good. See a bloody "zombie" with a scream, and I completely shutted down the whole Portal 2 because I was scared. Gg, map is completing it´s goal and that make players scared. Good job, even through I was not able to see the ending.
KoolKat Jake 4. nov. 2018 kl. 16:55

cot1nho 18. okt. 2018 kl. 12:31

KyloX  [ophavsmand] 3. feb. 2018 kl. 13:34
Sadly, there won't be co-op version of this map. It wasn't designed with co-op in mind, so sorry about that.
glip glop 3. feb. 2018 kl. 11:56
can there be a co-op map? my friend REALLY wants to play.:steamhappy:

KyloX  [ophavsmand] 1. okt. 2017 kl. 1:30
Glad that in the end, you enjoyed it.
Cheers
jandlml 30. sep. 2017 kl. 16:29
excellent map. i got all the friends out. not quite portal but fun non the less. thanks for creating something that obviously took quite a long time to do.
jandlml 25. sep. 2017 kl. 20:19
well i managed to get out. but i didnt have any friends with me. i actually thought i needed to have them back at the elevator in the first room. i will have to play it again. it sure is fun
jandlml 25. sep. 2017 kl. 19:45
when you are in the room where you jump into the water. am i supposed to be able to drain the water? i got to the bottom where the big faucet is. should i be able to use that?
jandlml 24. sep. 2017 kl. 22:56
well i have found the 2 switches and 2 exits. but i cant keep track of the rooms. there are so many. i will come back and try again tomorrow
jandlml 24. sep. 2017 kl. 22:21
i will definitely come back and try again. i dont havee much confidence that i will solve it but will keep trying. love the cute stuffed animals
KyloX  [ophavsmand] 24. sep. 2017 kl. 21:46
It all goes back to the simple principle: watch, experience and learn. Dieing in this map is basically a type of progress, as you see what killed you and know what to expect if you end up on the same trap, despite that all traps can be avoided/solved. As well, I have putted some tips on the discription to help out.

Though I know that this kind of map is not gonna be like by everyone, as this isn't your normal type of "puzzle" and you get to die few time to a lot, which can be discouraging. This kind of map can take a while to solve, while patience and figuring out how everything works is a key point in solving this map. If you can't solve it now, you can always come back another time and it might feel fresh again, due to random placements.

Thanks for playing my collection.
jandlml 24. sep. 2017 kl. 15:57
pretty cool map even though im no ood at it
jandlml 24. sep. 2017 kl. 15:53
well i guess tis isnt for me. ive died like a hundred times and still havent found any buttons. i think i found all he friends though cute.
Buddy 24. sep. 2017 kl. 12:06
I can see if i can get the custom stuff out using something like pakrat
Currently I have a .vmf from using bspsrc and a .bsp from some steam workshop downloader
KyloX  [ophavsmand] 23. sep. 2017 kl. 23:09
Hmmm... It is possible, but it might break some of the mechanics as everything is based around one player and its location around the map.

You can try if you wish, but as I remember, you won't be able to get models, textures, sounds (custom stuff) from bsp file. If you do manage to do it, give notice and write it down who is the authoor of the map (me) and a link to the original.

Cheers and good luck.
Buddy 23. sep. 2017 kl. 21:46
If I make a coop port can I upload it?
Gorp, Lord of Morp 27. juni 2017 kl. 10:53
can i play this with one other friend? not four?
Tygron 27. maj 2017 kl. 16:51
Tomorrow
KyloX  [ophavsmand] 27. maj 2017 kl. 16:40
@3Dhugo Can you describe which models/textures are missing or give screenshots.
Tygron 27. maj 2017 kl. 15:53
There are some missing textures in the map due to PakRat problems by using only the auto button. Recommend to click on the auto button then click the add button and find the files left (mostly vtf and vmt files for models).
KyloX  [ophavsmand] 27. maj 2017 kl. 12:29
Glad to hear to some people did enjoyed this map very much :)

@Gameratt The hypercube thing has been done before, atleast on other Source engine games, but do not fully know if it was done on Portal 2. It would be possible to make and might not be that hard actually, atleast I think it wouldn't be hard... (I took about 2 years to make this map, with pauses)
CaptainVorton 27. maj 2017 kl. 11:51
The zombies look like cranks from "Scorch Trials." :)
awsome map
Ubiquium 12. maj 2017 kl. 15:30
I love this so much, do you think you could actually make a map like one of the Cube Movies? Hypercube would be cool, since it would kind of fit the Portal Universe.
DaMaGepy 12. maj 2017 kl. 9:56
In the room where I fall into water and must swim down, underwater looking up the water surface (in bottommaterial) is checkerboard (missing texture thing)
Muad'dib 28. apr. 2017 kl. 6:48
One of the best maps i've played!
kwinten 26. apr. 2017 kl. 2:24
i would like to use some things from your map (like the color_correction effect) for TIMEX mod, can i ?
KyloX  [ophavsmand] 25. apr. 2017 kl. 21:32
@kwinten yup, color_correction. I love that trap/scare.
kwinten 25. apr. 2017 kl. 15:29
no lags for me, the concept is awesome ! Very good work here :)
Ps: howdid you do the red screen effect ? color_correction ?
KyloX  [ophavsmand] 23. apr. 2017 kl. 8:56
Odd, I get that the first loading takes quite a while, but the resets takes seconds for me and my setup quite weak compared to yours (HDD, 8GB RAM)
nintendo.erk 23. apr. 2017 kl. 8:35
Well, I have i7 4790 with 32GB DDR3 and GTX1070 and loading took some time. Given the map is over 90MB.
KyloX  [ophavsmand] 23. apr. 2017 kl. 7:27
If I could had used the teleporting rather than dieing, I would had, but that would be even more complicated to do, as everything would need to be reseted manually (traps, objectives, sequences and so on). Dieing is a best tool to make a total reset.

And loading, shouldn't take that long, though depends on the system you have, i guess. My loading takes about 5 secs.
Theezakje 23. apr. 2017 kl. 7:13
I liked it, but I'd strongly suggest trying to cut load times by teleporting or anything, but that might make everything more complicated because of props etc. It's just that the loading takes too long :p

I find the elephant the most fun object in the map, now he's at the bottom of the goo pit
Fox 23. apr. 2017 kl. 6:18
Well, idk how to play it, but I liked design, especially elevator and that "open air" part at the end (idk if u can get there without noclip xd).
TG 23. apr. 2017 kl. 6:14
Not my cup of tea as well.
KyloX  [ophavsmand] 23. apr. 2017 kl. 6:09
I know this map isn't for everyones taste and it takes time to adjust to this type of map.

I would compare this type of gameplay to SCP - Containment Breach. When firstly stepping in, you don't have any knowledge about what is to come and mostly you die and don't get to far. But after few tries, you get the hang of it, you know how to get around things and what makes things tic.
