@millerchristophd That's a shame. It would probably be a good idea to make the AI ignore harvesting strategic resources.

@Ramuné, yeah that behavior's pretty much baked into the game's AI. It's even worse with mods that let you place districts on resources *by making all resources harvestable* and then replacing the resource after building the district--the AI empires will harvest all their Strategics and just denude their entire empire, exc. e.g. the Maori.

I didn't notice the "all resources are harvestable" if like me you don't want that, the file is Resource_Harvesting.sql either comment out the entire thing or delete it all, dealer's choice.

Maybe the dev or someone should develop a no-cap for amenities given by luxuries, that should work well with this mod.

If I place a district over a luxury resource, do I keep that resource or is it actually removed?

Game notification says it is removed, however it seems to be that it stays (despite a few turns passing, reloading the game).

First I got problem with total luxury item count after it got destroy(or harvest), but after reload the save, all luxury count got update, and work normally.

How do you harvest a resource? I moved my builder over the resource and there wasn't an option to harvest. Is it possibly because I loaded the mod on an older save?

Is it correct that I don't receive any strategics form stragegic resources which have a district over them? I have improved 1 coal (mine) and 2 coal resources are under districts. I should be accumulating 3 * 3 = 9 coal per turn. Instead I'm only accumulating 3 coal per turn, suggesting I'm only receiving coal from my coal mine. Is this a bug?

@SarahBearah it should be, this mod is in the Vox Populis Modpack with Sukritact's Ocean Mod, I'm only trying to figure out how to add this mod to the game alongside the Vox Populis modpack.

It seems to be compatible, but how are they interacting? Are effects adding up?

Knowing Oceans LoadOrder is 5 and Truly Abundant is higher;
how are "Suk_ResourceGenerator.lua", "Suk_OceansMapGen.lua" and "Suk_MapConvolution.lua" interacting with "Resources.sql", "Resource_SeaLuxuries.sql" and "ResourceGenerator.lua"?

@diamond_slender I dont have that problem at all, are you using windows or linux native code for the game ? if you are using linux based os run the game under proton, alot problems are solved that way.

I was wondering if it was possible to have identical resources not be placed adjacent to each other?
This would greatly alleviate the big clumps of same resources all over the map. On my maps there's clumps of literally 10 identical luxuries right next to each other, or 20-30 in like a 25 tile diameter. It's a little ridiculous.? :/

Yeah I found out the mod that was causing desync of map generation it was multiplayer helper...as friend was seeing different resources causing constant desync. :pug:

@RYKHAtH - No. I make all my mods to be MP friendly. Anyway, the resource generation is only a one-time event that occurs during map gen. That won't cause desync.

They are highlighted pink in my game, and the mod works perfectly. First make certain that you have the latest copy of the mod buy unsubscribing and resubscribing. Next look for mods that may conflict. Any mods that might also change the menu for instance.

Great, thank you... something odd just started (and I confirmed with just this mod enabled), Plentiful and Truly Abundant aren't showing up in the menu pick anymore... at least part of the mod is working because I had some Amber and there was a Harvest pick.

Any thoughts?

You can find the Steam mods folder for Civ VI at whereever you installed your Steam folder. So, for example, on my machine it is installed in D:\My Games\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\289070. Do a search using your file explorer search function for that last part of the file path I just listed above (289070) and you should be able to find it quite easily. Hopefully that makes sense :steamthumbsup:
