You could probably import the hand model into the gauss cannon and just save the entire thing as one model. I'm no expert but I don't see why it couldn't be done.

Most of cannon anims is code stuff,yes but cannon still have animations like wait.

Like SSHD cannon dont have animations , the charge is just movement like script from game you can try it to classic

Cannon doesn,t has atachments,only way is put hand into Cannon.Mdl but this requires recreate all animation set and i don,t know how create animations...
