What if the scythe and the guitar were one? You could have a little note pop above his head when you hid the guitar and the smaller enemies get spawned though.

Idea, maybe you could make a version that has a mix between the guitar and his scythe, and the guitar part just removes itself after its broken.

This works with non-DLC versions.
